Kids Camps During School Holiday
The goal of BLIS is to provide quality activities and supervision to the active English and German speaking youth of the Basel area. Our camps range in focus from sports, to art, to music, dance and culture. By scheduling these camps during school breaks, Kids Camp provides our working parents a safe and productive alternative to other child care services. It also allows the youth of our community a productive way to meet other local children with similar interests. Our campers spend their school breaks having fun while learning and improving their skills and knowledge in the given area focused upon by camp.
Kids Soccer Camp
Our most popular single event has something for the competitive player as well as for the beginner. Sharpen your skills and have fun competing with fellow campers.
Kids Camp ‘The Original’
Our “original” Kids Camp is a fun filled week of art, music, culture and local points of interest. Tour and Play in Basel with Kids Camp!
Kids Ultimate Dodgeball Camp
This camper favorite finally gets it’s own week! Join us for a week of various dodgeball games including traditional dodgeball, capture the flag dodgeball and other games of strategy and skill. We will play team and individual games with something for everyone regardless of their dodgeball experience.
Kids Basketball Camp
A favorite of our director who is also a former professional basketball player. Sharpen your hoops skills while having a lot of fun. It’s a real slam dunk!
Kids Scout Camp
For our outdoor adventurers, this camp is for the real Kid’s Camp Scout. We will take adventurous trips to outdoor parks and forests and participate in scavenger hunts, treasure map making and reading and many other exciting activities.
Kids Music Camp
Are you the next young music star from Basel? Strum, drum and sing your way through a great week of various music activities. Each day will feature a different theme such as percussion, guitar and singing. Come show off your skills as a music star!
Kids All-Star Sports Camp
Great for the well rounded athlete or the camper interested in learning about a variety of sports. Our coordinator and former Swiss Boxing Champion thinks this camp is a real knock out.
Kids Cooking Camp
Kids Cooking Camp is for our creative young KCI chefs. Campers will work with an actual qualified chef in creating super meals and snacks and learning all the tricks of the trade from an actual cooking professional. Once registered for camp, we do not accept cancellations and full payment must be made. BLIS and Nicosia-Schelker AG are not responsible for lost or damaged property brought to camp.
Terms and ConditionsOur Campus in Oberwil
Sports Camps are held at the Turnhalle Thomasgarten in Oberwil. All other camps will meet on the campus of Baselland International School in Oberwil, wich is just minutes away from Basel Stadt (Basel City) and is easily accessable by public transportation. Our facility is just a two minute walk from the “Hohestrasse” bus stop of the number 61 and 64 bus lines. We have ample free parking.
